The RBT assists with daily activities, monitors behavior, collects data, communicates with individuals, and implements skill training plans, including adaptive, social, community integration, and functional skills training, aligned with person-centered planning principles. The position also strategizes with home consultants to create home and community activities. Essential Functions Ensure the supervision, safety, and well-being of the individuals at all times. Provide the continuous active treatment program for each individual, implementing and documenting Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and related objectives. Participate in the development and evaluation of the ISP. Monitor and support individuals' health and well-being and report observations to the Administrator and/or District Manager. Document daily status, behavior, and treatment responses. Help maintain a clean, safe, healthful, and nurturing environment. Offer quality training and positive interactions with individuals. Adhere to and implement the company’s active treatment philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures. Ask questions and learn from colleagues. Promote learning, growth, socialization, and independence of individuals. Assist in developing daily activity plans—skill-building, therapeutic, leisure, and recreational—for both home and community settings. Ensure individuals are engaged in meaningful daily activities within home and community settings. Dress according to dress code and safety requirements. Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education and training. Build relationships with other company departments, staff, and external agencies. Go above and beyond for the individuals and staff with whom the RBT interacts. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Current Registered Behavior Technician certification. Direct Support Professional I and Direct Support Professional II certificates in accordance with Title 17 Requirements. Current certification ofProfessional Crisis Management (PCM) training or another regional center approved emergency intervention program. ABA background and ability to create task analysis and determine areas needing additional support. At least two years of experience in a related field working with adults with developmental disabilities. Physical Requirements Work predominantly in indoor residential or office settings with occasional outdoor work. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking, driving, bending, stooping, crouching, twisting, squatting, reaching, pulling, and repetitive motions.
