About our property:

Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center - Benchmark Hospitality - High-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public. - 1,400 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites. - Nine restaurants and lounges including a Starbucks and Seattle's Best Coffee, and three sit down restaurants. - 200,000 square feet of meeting space - Ballrooms, Amphitheater and classrooms. - Fitness Center, jogging trails and sports fields (all available to our associates to use!) - All professional clientele. No weddings, holiday parties, school groups, or other social-type events. - Located in Westlake, Texas - near Keller, Southlake, and Roanoke. - Property is managed by Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION: The Cocktail Server will work in our social venues and lounges which include a rooftop lounge, lobby lounge, high volume sports bar with amazing BBQ, and an outdoor pavilion. This position is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service for the guest, and will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant front of house. It is important to know that we are tip-free environment so this position is paid a base hourly rate, no tips will be received.

• Status: Full Time
• Availability: Sundays are required. Occasional Friday and Saturday preferred.
• Pay: $20 per hour, no tips
• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center

Essential Functions:

• Interact with guests to take drink and food orders.
• Assist guests with beverage knowledge in making drink selections.
• Clear plates and glasses, clean tables and maintain a clean workspace.
• Perform side work such as polishing silverware, rolling silver, cleaning side stations, vacuuming, and more.
• Enter orders on a point of sale system, present checks to guest, and take payment.
• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing personality. Likes to smile and talk to people.
• Restaurant, bar or lounge serving experience preferred, but not required. We will train!
• Liquor, beer and wine knowledge desirable.
• Experience working on a F&B Point of Sale system desirable.
• Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.
