Job Description - CMA - Industrial Health-Full Time (7424-2141) Clark Regional Physicians Practices Description Job Summary: Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office. Some travel required to local and surrounding communities for health screenings/education Essential Functions: Under the supervision of medical provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage and patient registration Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates Onsite health screenings/education; comfortable speaking in front of others Some travel required to local and surrounding communities with Wellness Works Manager Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, detail oriented with decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be flexible with work location assignments Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required Associate's Degree, preferred Licensure/Certifications/Registration: Current certification in Medical Assisting from accredited program Current certification in phlebotomy and EKG, if CCMA #J-18808-Ljbffr
