The organization is known for its focus on sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Position SummaryThe Quality Manager will lead all plant-wide quality systems and performance initiatives, ensuring product consistency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across a high-volume manufacturing operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities across the plantMaintain and enhance plant-wide quality systems and standards (ISO and customer-specific requirements)Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement effortsEnsure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standardsPartner with operations to improve process consistency, yield, and product performanceOversee internal and external audits, including customer and certification auditsTrack and improve key quality KPIs (defects, scrap, complaints, cost of quality)Lead and develop the quality team, fostering accountability and performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and supply chain teamsQualificationsBachelor's degree (Engineering or related field preferred)5-7+ years of experience in a quality leadership role within manufacturingExperience in pulp & paper, paperboard, or packaging manufacturing strongly preferredStrong knowledge of:Quality systems (ISO, audits, compliance)Continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)Process manufacturing environmentsProven ability to lead teams and drive plant-level quality performanceWhat Makes This Opportunity CompellingLeadership role in a large-scale, high-volume manufacturing environmentStrong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellenceOpportunity to make a visible impact on plant performanceStable, growth-oriented organization with long-term career potentialLocated within commutable distance to Little Rock, ARIdeal Candidate ProfileBackground in paper mills, paperboard, or fiber-based packagingExperience in continuous process manufacturing environmentsStrong mix of technical quality expertise and leadership capability
