The collections associate will be responsible for following departmental procedures to effectively recover aging balances. The Collections Associate position reports to the Collections Supervisor. Process and distribute monthly statements to brokers and clients, with follow-up on outstanding balances according to established departmental procedures and deadlines. Manages outstanding invoice status and interfaces with Account Servicers on collection matters and dispute resolution. Timely completion of ImageRight tasks and processes. Identifies opportunities to enhance and improve systems & operations within the organization. Serves as backup for other members of collections team. Qualifications/Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent required. An associate degree is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or related field. General understanding of Accounts Receivable reports. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with limited standardization. Recreate accurate timeline of events with cash reconciliation backup. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel.
