Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll issues.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of company-wide weekly payroll in SAP and mileage pay in the legacy AS400 system
• Accurately enter employee master file data into the payroll system including: taxes, deductions, garnishments, and other pay information
• Process direct deposit and negotiable checks in an accurate and precise manner
• Provide timely and helpful customer service for employees concerning payroll related issues in assigned region/service area
• Complete forms request by or for employees such as wage summaries, employment verifications, etc.
• Reconcile assigned payroll accounts

Job Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Experience processing large multi-state payroll in ERP (in house) payroll environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Detail oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive data regarding employee wages confidentially
• SAP experience preferred
