MATH TEACHER

We seek a Math Teacher for the upcoming school year. The teaching load is 4 or 5 classes, and the levels are TBD based on the candidate’s experience and the needs of our current students. This position requires living in a faculty apartment in one of the dorms. In addition to teaching, all faculty serve as advisors to a group of 7 students, have one night of study hall/dorm duty, weekend responsibilities every third weekend, and assist with sports or other activities in the afternoon for one or two seasons. A bachelor’s degree in math is preferred. Start Date: August 10, 2026 Skills and Abilities Required Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in math or equivalent math coursework. Strong written and communication skills. Self‑motivated with attention to both tasks and people. Strong technology skills. Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in a residential boarding school environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and persevere. Ability to engage learners in the subject area and serve as a role model. Demonstrate empathy, respect, and trustworthiness. Possess a valid driver’s license.
