Role Description The CNC Machinist is a full-time, on-site position based in Tucson, AZ. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include selecting tools and materials, loading programs, performing test runs, and making adjustments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards. The CNC Machinist will inspect parts using measurement tools, document production results, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues and improve processes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting both production and R&D machining activities as needed. Qualifications Ability to independently operate and monitor CNC equipment, demonstrating strong Machine Operation skills. Hands-on experience with Machining processes, including setup, tooling, and interpreting engineering drawings. Proficiency in Milling operations, preferably with multi-axis CNC milling centers. Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and inspection documentation. Familiarity with shop Machinery, preventive maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols. Experience working with metals and plastics, ideally including non-ferrous and exotic materials such as aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, and engineering plastics. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing process documents. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to meeting production schedules. Prior experience in an ISO- or AS-certified manufacturing environment is a plus. Relevant technical training or vocational education in machining or manufacturing technology is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
