Qualifications AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification required Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and welding inspection within a manufacturing or fabrication environment Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and other relevant codes Experience with stainless steel and high‑performance alloys commonly used in cooling system fabrication Familiarity with pressure vessel, piping, or HVAC component manufacturing preferred Proficient in blueprint reading, GD&T, and weld symbol interpretation Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital inspection/reporting tools Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks Ability to use office, phone and computer equipment Working in manufacturing or fabrication shop environments with appropriate PPE Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, and company standards Verify weld procedures, welder qualifications, and welding consumables are in accordance with project requirements Complete training and retraining across welding levels and roles; quality and certification review Conduct non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods as applicable (VT, PT, MT, etc.), and coordinate with third‑party NDT services when required Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and weld maps to ensure product conformance Document and report inspection results, non‑conformances, and corrective actions using the company's quality management system Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve welding‑related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives Participate in weld audits, root cause analysis, and quality training programs Maintain inspection equipment calibration and ensure traceability of inspection records Uphold and promote the company's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence Other duties as assigned Why This Opportunity?
