PCG is currently seeking an Innovation Analyst for the Innovation & Advancement Department based in Lenexa, KS. The position will work alongside the Director of Innovation & Advancement, Innovation Manager, Innovation Engineers, operational leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to support the planning, tracking, measurement, communication, and continuous improvement of innovation initiatives.

The Innovation Analyst will assist in advancing PCG's four innovation pillars: Ideate, Build, Educate, and Future Ready. This role is intended to help the Innovation team mature how work is tracked, how business value is defined, how stakeholder feedback is gathered, and how innovation results are communicated across the organization.

Role Emphasis:

• Analytics and KPI management, including dashboards, scorecards, data collection, and leadership reporting

• Innovation program coordination, including initiative tracking, deadlines, deliverables, roadmaps, and follow-up

• Innovation communications and stakeholder engagement, including Innovation Hub updates, success stories, targeted communications, and feedback loops

• Administrative and vendor support, including invoice processing, vendor setup, legal review coordination, and related documentation

Salary: $59,500 - $80,0000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Duties:

• Assist with monitoring, tracking, and reporting on innovation initiatives, pilots, programs, and strategic opportunities across PCG.

• Support continuous improvement of how the Innovation team tracks work, deliverables, deadlines, risks, decisions, and opportunities.

• Assist with maintaining innovation roadmaps, action item logs, initiative trackers, pipeline summaries, and leadership reporting materials.

• Help build and maintain KPI and metric dashboards that roll up initiative status, performance, adoption, impact, and value for leadership and the organization to consume.

• Assist with collecting, analyzing, and summarizing innovation data, including business case details, success criteria, stakeholder feedback, and key performance indicators.

• Assist with requirement gathering for innovation initiatives, including documenting operational needs, business problems, user impacts, assumptions, expected outcomes, and measurement plans.

• Support the maturity and continued development of the four innovation pillars: Ideate, Build, Educate, and Future Ready.

• Solicit feedback from stakeholders on innovation initiatives, pilot performance, user experience, adoption barriers, and opportunities for improvement.

• Assist with maintaining and improving the Innovation Hub, including Innovation Center content, idea intake updates, initiative summaries, pilot updates, lessons learned, and resource pages.

• Assist with Innovation Communications, including Innovation Hub articles, team updates, success stories, Innovation Shorts, targeted communications, and role-specific messaging across PCG.

• Coordinate with Marketing and internal stakeholders to help tell clear, practical innovation stories that highlight field value, operational impact, and lessons learned.

• Assist with preparing materials for leadership reviews, innovation governance discussions, workshops, demonstrations, training sessions, and Innovation Center activities.

• Help identify process improvement opportunities, reporting gaps, adoption risks, and ways to increase consistency across innovation workflows.

• Research emerging technologies, innovation trends, operational improvement opportunities, vendor capabilities, and construction industry developments relevant to PCG.

• Collaborate with internal departments including Operations, Safety, Quality, IT, HR, Strategic Development, Marketing, Procurement, Legal, and Finance as needed.

• Assist with invoice processing, vendor setup, legal review coordination, contract documentation, purchase support, and related administrative tasks.

• Will not have direct supervision of employee(s).

• Reports directly to the Director of Innovation & Advancement.

• Perform any additional innovation-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, Analytics, Communications, or related field preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience working within PCI and/or PCG operations preferred, especially with exposure to Quality, Safety, Operations, Project Controls, Field Operations, Innovation, Continuous Improvement, or related functions.

• Working knowledge of commercial and/or industrial construction environments, including how field operations, project teams, and support departments coordinate work.

• Must have a passion for continuous improvement, innovation, technology, problem solving, and advancing practical solutions across the organization.

• Ability to recognize and act upon trends, risks, opportunities, stakeholder needs, and improvement opportunities.

• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, organizing feedback, and supporting initiative execution.

• Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and collaboration platforms.

• Familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, dashboards, scorecards, or metric reporting preferred.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent and professional communication skills, both written and oral.

• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the ability to connect details to the broader business objective.

• Demonstrates a solutions-oriented, customer-focused, and continuous improvement mindset.

• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in an evolving environment.

• Proven track record working successfully independently as well as with a team and/or alongside various stakeholders.

• Ability to positively foster, influence, and support change across different roles, branches, and departments.

• Experience with project management, Lean, Six Sigma, business analytics, innovation programs, change management, or business transformation initiatives is preferred.

• Adaptable, ambitious, cooperative, engaging, outgoing, hardworking, self-directed, reliable, innovative, and creative.

• 10-20% travel with 80-90% in office or Innovation Center environment (estimated amount).
