As a Front Desk Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and supporting security-related operations with professionalism and care. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Monitor visitor and driver arrivals, assist with access control processes, issue credentials as needed, and/or document entry and exit activity for the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and first responders when appropriate. Support front desk operations in a logistics and distribution location by answering questions, directing guests, receiving deliveries, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
