TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in West Burlington, Iowa, 52655!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification required Must-Have: EPIC EMR experience required Telemetry experience required Description: Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test-out will be administered during the first week of assignment. This test must be passed in order to work on the telemetry/med surg unit. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates care with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients and significant others while maintaining high professional standards. Provides high-quality care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry patient populations. Floating may be required to other campuses as needed. While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during low census periods. If called in, the traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Med/surg ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. ACLS certification is required. Basic Life Support certification is required. Self-study of telemetry strips and successful completion of the dysrhythmia test are mandatory for assignment. Traveler should be prepared for assignments on both telemetry and medical/surgical units. All travelers will have to rotate every other weekend.
