Job Details Location: Gainesville, VA Department: Nuclear Medicine Equipment: Siemens PET/CT scanners Shift: 5–8 a.m. – Friday (Mon–Fri) Contract: 13‑week assignment, 2‑year minimum experience required Weekly gross: $3,200 (eligible for benefits) Benefits Paid Time Off program Future benefits if licensed Option for Siemens Healthineers paid training (remote or in‑person) Networking opportunities with a global leader in healthcare Requirements Active ARRT certification and Nuclear Medicine license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of 2 years of PET/CT experience Your Role As a Travel PET/CT Technologist, you will deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services by combining Positron Emission Tomography (PET) with Computed Tomography (CT) technology. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and diagnostic precision in various clinical settings. Key Responsibilities Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures. Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high‑quality functional and anatomical images. Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets. Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation. Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
