As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor arrivals, issuing temporary access credentials, and maintaining access-related records. Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, employee, and delivery activity at a food and beverage distribution location; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, perimeter areas, parking locations, and operational areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
