As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting procedures. Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, hazards, and operational needs. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
