Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Service Delivery - Delivery Lead on behalf of our client in Boston, MA. This role is responsible for driving delivery excellence across multiple engineering teams by overseeing work intake, prioritization, dependency management, release planning, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile delivery, software development lifecycle management, and data-driven delivery operations, ensuring predictable, high-quality software releases while maintaining team velocity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery management across multiple engineering teams and initiatives.

• Oversee work intake, prioritization, sequencing, and execution to ensure efficient delivery flow.

• Manage and resolve cross-team dependencies, blockers, and delivery risks.

• Drive predictable and repeatable release processes through effective configuration and release management practices.

• Monitor cycle time, throughput, delivery performance, and other key operational metrics.

• Establish and maintain delivery governance, reporting, and performance measurement frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders to align delivery objectives.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize delivery outcomes.

• Provide leadership and visibility into work in progress, delivery commitments, and release readiness.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software delivery across multiple engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in Delivery Excellence and software delivery management.

• Hands-on experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of Configuration & Release Management processes and best practices.

• Experience managing cross-functional dependencies, risks, and delivery roadmaps.

• Expertise in Dependency Management , workflow optimization, and release coordination.

• Experience defining, tracking, and managing delivery metrics, including cycle time, throughput, velocity, and release performance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation or modernization initiatives.

• Project, Program, Agile, or SAFe certifications.

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software delivery automation.

• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and product delivery models.
