We are currently hiring dependable and caring Direct Care Workers to assist individuals in residential and semi-independent living programs. No previous experience? No problem. Paid training and certification are provided. Position Overview As a Direct Care Worker, you will help individuals maintain independence, safety, and quality of life while providing day‑to‑day support in AFC‑licensed homes and community living settings. Daily Responsibilities Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks Support medication routines Transport residents using company vehicles Encourage independence and positive daily routines Provide companionship and emotional support Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans Available Shift Options 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM Benefits & Employee Incentives $3,500 new hire bonus Health insurance options PTO eligibility after 90 days Employee referral bonuses Attendance reward incentives Monthly cash prize drawings Gas incentive program Career advancement opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Valid Michigan driver’s license in good standing CPR/First Aid and CBIS certifications are a plus, but not required Experience in caregiving, direct care, CNA, rehabilitation, or TBI support is beneficial Why Join Our Team?
