Logistics Management Specialist

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Organizational Resources and Support Division, Emergency Management, Readiness, Logistics, and Support Branch, located in Indianapolis, IN Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above. Experience You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Overseeing and monitoring property management and other management information systems to provide data analysis, technical advice, and guidance on a variety of logistical process programs; Managing resources and fiscal management for the field offices, ensuring funds, manpower, facilities, equipment, supplies, and services are coordinated and available for all organization functional needs; Implementing, coordinating, and executing a variety of logistical, supply management, security, health and safety activities; Providing technical and mobile work-related support to individuals in various regions and planning, developing, and modifying procedural documentation related to space, personal property, and management.
