Job Details Location: Ames, IA 50010 Position type: Full Time Travel percentage: Daytime Job category: Nurse / Registered Nurse Wolfe Eye Clinic has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse. This 4‑day a week position will travel to other clinics with the Retina teams. The role works closely with retina specialists to provide comprehensive care for our patients. Candidates should be eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment and possess the ability to positively interact with patients while providing instruction and education. Responsibilities Rooming patients Administering injections Assisting physicians with exams Triaging phone calls and responding to tasks Scribing for the physician Maintaining electronic medical records Performing insurance pre‑authorizations Other clinical duties as needed Qualifications Must be able to work independently and in a team environment Have excellent customer service skills Remain organized Learn and adapt quickly Maintain excellent communication skills Current Iowa nursing license required; clinical nursing experience preferred Work Conditions & Benefits Daytime travel within the state of Iowa is required.
