Required Skills:

• Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, with at least 1 year in Cath Lab within the last year
• Ability to perform multiple functions: circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring in cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Experience with vasoactive drug administration, sedation, sterile technique, and critical patient assessment
• Proficiency with Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, Laser, lithotripsy atherectomy, and other interventional tools
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability to handle complex cases and emergencies

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring (Merge systems, VAD, Impella, ECCMO, pacers)
• Familiarity with operating Philips imaging systems, IVUS, EKOS, FFR, and ancillary equipment
• Prior exposure to hybrid procedures such as TAVR and MitraClip procedures
• Comfort with scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cases

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of recent cath lab experience in a hospital setting
• Certifications in ARRT and state licensure for X-ray Techs (LSRBTE) preferred; RCIS is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience supporting complex cardiovascular and peripheral vascular interventions

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver's license for floating between multiple facilities in Shreveport and Bossier City, LA
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overnight call shifts (approximately every 3rd weekend)
• Willingness to float between facilities for patient coverage, with some procedures at the Innovation Center
• Orientation will include a one-week training at the Innovation Center and potentially additional precepting
