Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to NICU Level 2 patients, managing phototherapy, respiratory distress, and hypoglycemia.
• Attend deliveries as the baby nurse, including performing emergency care as needed.
• Administer and titrate intravenous drips such as D5W and TPN.
• Flexibly float between Special Care Nursery and Postpartum assignments as required.
• Assist with procedures including Bubble CPAP, HiFlow oxygen administration, and umbilical line management.
• Collaborate with 24/7 in-house neonatologists and ensure the use of respiratory equipment like CPAP, BiPAP, and vents appropriately.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• Must hold NRP and BLS certifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in a NICU Level 2 setting preferred.
• Experience in postpartum care and handling medical equipment for neonatal care.
• Proficient in IV start, maintenance, and transfer to higher levels of care.
• Comfortable with block scheduling and meeting weekend and holiday requirements.
