Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer SrYou will be the Mechanical Design Engineer Sr for an Air Dominance development team. Our team is responsible for designing and producing key components of the missile system, including tactical and special test equipment hardware. As the Mechanical Engineering Designer Sr, you will be responsible for supporting the Integrated Product Team in creating detailed designs, layouts, and drawings for various components and subassemblies. You will play a key role in developing and generating CREO layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include:Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed model-based designs (MBD) for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articlesBuilding BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLMCoordinating with the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellenceManaging design releases, responding to CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviewsPerforming design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, performance, and structural/thermal benefitsDo you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality?
