Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $30 - $30 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Mechanic:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of production equipment

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mixers, ovens, conveyors, packaging machines, and refrigeration systems

• Diagnose and repair motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, bearings, chains, and gearboxes

• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, and PLC-controlled equipment

• Install, test, and replace electrical components, wiring, and mechanical parts as required

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

• Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential failures and minimize downtime

• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and production line improvement projects

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders

• Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP requirements

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) and 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with bakery or food manufacturing experience preferred

• Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices

• Welding and fabrication experience is an advantage

• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns

• Background check and drug screening required
