Financial Specialist III

To tackle complex financial challenges, the full-time remote Financial Specialist III will manage accounting journals, prepare customer statements, and provide financial advice to university administrators. Key responsibilities: Drafts communications and maintains organization of records to support administrative functions Answers complex fiscal questions and reviews transaction processing internal controls Monitors financial transactions, generates reports, and reallocates expenses to appropriate funding strings Required qualifications: Minimum of two years' experience in accounting, finance, or a related field Associate's Degree in business, finance, accounting, or a closely related field Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial accounting systems Ability to prepare financial reports and manage multiple projects under competing deadlines
