What we’re seeking:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience working with middle school students preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to effectively manage and adapt classroom strategies to diverse learning needs
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and school staff

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals, fostering student growth and achievement
• Develop engaging lesson plans that accommodate varied abilities and learning styles
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate on IEP meetings
• Consult with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote an inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families, providing updates and resources as needed
