Job Summary

Emergency Room Nurse (RN) Lewiston, ME. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care within a busy Level 2 trauma center. The nurse will work in a dynamic environment treating a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics, supporting critical care needs and stroke management.

Job Details

• Location: Lewiston, ME
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00am - 7:30pm), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license, ACLS, BCLS/BLS, PALS, NIH certification, TNCC certification; at least 2 years of experience in a non-trauma emergency department setting; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; ventilated patient care
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, ventilated patients
• Additional Information: Level 2 trauma center with 4 critical care bays, teleneurology services for stroke in cooperation with a leading academic hospital; unit equipped with US, bladder scanner, neuro tele computer, and hand-held devices; electronic health records utilize Omnicell, EPIC, and SBAR; caring for a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in an area with a depressed economy
