Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Whittier, CA

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure or eligibility
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in process (CFY)
• Experience or genuine interest in pediatric and PreK populations
• Comfort with teletherapy platforms and in-person sessions
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Collaborative spirit for working with school teams, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy to PreK students
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate, timely records
• Partner with teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development
• Adapt services for virtual and in-person delivery as needed

Compensation for this role ranges from $48-60 per hour, based on experience, ensuring your expertise is recognized and rewarded. The position is school-based with opportunities to build rapport with young learners and see direct results from your intervention.
