About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Vice President for Commercialization to spearhead the development of its go-to-market and commercialization foundation. The successful candidate will be tasked with the critical role of translating the company's open-science model platform into real-world adoption. This involves fostering thoughtful partnerships, engaging with early customers, and nurturing the ecosystem, all while ensuring that research velocity and technical integrity are not compromised. The role also includes laying the groundwork for early go-to-market and commercial design partnerships, from strategic planning to execution. Key responsibilities for this executive position include defining and executing initial business and revenue strategies in collaboration with a technical team, enabling enterprise partnership opportunities, and building a robust developer engagement strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building early go-to-market foundations, partnerships, or revenue streams within a deeply technical company. Experience in scaling business operations through ambiguous, zero-to-one stages is essential, and a strong understanding of open-source and open-weight ecosystems is a significant advantage. The role requires the ability to operate as a bridge between research, product, and external partners, and a comfort with high levels of ownership and low ego in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
