Assist in performing advanced imaging procedures, primarily CT scans, in a fast-paced radiology department. Ensure accurate, safe, and efficient imaging services for both adult and pediatric patients, adhering to all safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality CT scans for diagnostic purposes.
- Follow all departmental protocols and safety procedures, including radiation safety and proper badge management.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, including starting IVs when required.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely patient care.
- Document procedures accurately within the EMR system using Epic, Canon/Toshiba, and Fuji Synaps software.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including day and evening shifts, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.
- Current WV license and ARRt certification, with CT preferred.
- BLS certification from AHA.
- Valid Driver's license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility.
- Demonstrated experience with EPIC, Canon/Toshiba, and Fuji Synaps systems.
- Ability to start IVs and perform advanced imaging procedures efficiently.
- Willingness to comply with facility-specific scrub and uniform policies.
- Gain experience in a comprehensive, multidisciplinary radiology environment.
