Role Overview

We are seeking a Solutions Architect responsible for translating functional requirements into robust solution architectures. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying APIs using Java Spring Boot and Mulesoft. The position is part of a team developing front-end capabilities for applications within an enterprise data platform for environmental and climate risk data, a growing and relevant domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate requirements from functional analysts into solution architecture and design documents.
• Define architecture, select appropriate technology, and assess technical and operational feasibility.
• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful and SOAP-based APIs using Java Spring Boot and Mulesoft.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze integration requirements.
• Work independently and coordinate with a distributed team, providing regular task status updates to management.
• Engage in client interactions as required.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience with designing and developing RESTful and SOAP-based APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Java (including Spring Boot), XML, JSON, and scripting languages.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
• Understanding of security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and SSL/TLS.
• Proficiency with Angular.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in ETL tools like Informatica.
• Experience with Mulesoft.
• Familiarity with Autosys.
