About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer / Consultant to help design, implement, customize, and support business-critical ERP functionality across multiple operational areas.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing D365 F&O modules, developing custom code and integrations, and working directly with business stakeholders to deliver practical ERP solutions.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys solving operational and financial process challenges while building scalable customizations within the D365 ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Implement and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations features

Design and develop customizations, extensions, integrations, and reports within D365 F&O

Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Support and improve business processes across:

• Finance
• Production / Manufacturing
• Engineering
• Warehouse Management
• Purchasing / Procurement
• Inventory Management

Develop and maintain X++ customizations and related D365 development artifacts

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance problems

Assist with testing, deployments, upgrades, and user training

Collaborate with internal teams and external implementation partners as needed

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or Dynamics AX)

Strong experience developing custom code and modifications within D365 F&O

Experience with:

• X++
• Extensions and integrations
• Data entities and workflows
• Reporting and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of ERP implementation methodologies
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing and supporting one or more of the following areas:

• Finance
• Production / Manufacturing
• Engineering Change Management
• Warehouse Management
• Purchasing / Procurement
• Inventory Management

Additional preferred experience:

• Power Platform integration
• Azure integrations/services
• SQL and reporting tools
• Multi-site manufacturing environments

Location Preference

Candidates located in Western New York State are strongly preferred, ideally within approximately 2 hours driving distance of Penn Yan, NY. Hybrid or periodic onsite collaboration may be required.
