A Residential Property Manager oversees the efficient operation and administration of residential properties ranging from 11 to 100 units. They act as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensure lease compliance, manage budgets, coordinate maintenance, and handle marketing efforts, all while reporting to regional managers, property owners, or management companies.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations and resolve conflicts promptly
• Oversee lease administration and negotiations
• Collect rent and ensure timely payments
• Develop and monitor budgets for property operations
• Coordinate vendors and oversee property maintenance
• Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance and upkeep
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to stakeholders
• Manage compliance with housing regulations and company policies
• Market available properties to prospective tenants
• Respond to emergencies and urgent tenant issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in tenant screening and lease negotiation
• Knowledge of property maintenance oversight
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
• Effective time management and customer service abilities
• Problem-solving mindset
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
