We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.Schedule: Monday - Thursday; 10:00am-8:00pm (4x10) or Monday - Friday; 12:00pm - 8:00pmLocation: Gilbert, AZ; OnsitePosition Overview:Ensure appropriate dosing and verify compounded medications while upholding quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Key Responsibilities:Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriatenessPerforming calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properlyVisually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labsVisually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearanceAnswering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacistsCounseling patientsOffering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized careRequired Qualifications:Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) DegreeActive AZ Pharmacist licensePreferred Qualifications:Experience in compoundingUnderstanding of aseptic techniqueFamiliar with USP guidelinesWork Environment:This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed.
