Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Salem, Virginia. This role involves providing critical care in the emergency department at an outpatient facility. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires working night shifts, with a focus on high-quality patient care for critically ill and low acuity patients.

Job Details:

• Location: Salem, Virginia
• Schedule: Night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). No prior experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency department nursing, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency in Meditech, ability to care for critically ill patients, and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Additional Information: Unit staffed with six personnel daily, including registered nurses (RNs), emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and mids. The typical patient ratio is 4:1. The unit performs procedures such as med administration, critical patient care, and lab work. The dress code is navy blue scrubs. Four weekend shifts are required per schedule.
