Experienced Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianApartment communities in Sanford seeking an experienced self-motivated and dependable individual to join our team. Under direction will be responsible for the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair required. Excellent communication skills are also essential as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with management and coworkers, residents, and subcontractors.Broad Scope Of Duties:Repairs to appliances and fixturesPatch holes in wallsPaint building interiorsClean vacant units and interior spacesMiscellaneous carpentry repairsChange locksGrounds keeping, landscaping and snow removalRequirements:Experience coordinating apartment turnovers, capital projects, or major repairsFamiliarity with preventive maintenance programs and inspection protocolsKnowledge of workplace safety, OSHA practices, and building-code requirementsAbility to maintain accurate work-order, inventory, and inspection recordsAll members of the maintenance staff participate in a rolling on-call calendar.$26-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
