What We're Looking For

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• NBCOT Certification
• Educator's License

Minimum Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license valid in North Carolina.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Valid Educator's License or school-based credential accepted by the district.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting, including conducting assessments and developing IEPs.
• Experience with pediatric caseloads, specifically elementary (K-5) and middle school populations; candidate will serve a K-5/MS split for both openings.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams and maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Preferred: Experience working in public school districts and familiarity with school-based assistive technology and classroom accommodations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide occupational therapy services in a school-based setting for elementary and middle school students.
• Conduct standardized and curriculumbased assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver individualized and group therapy aligned to student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, speech and language therapists, special education staff, and administrators to support student progress.
• Maintain compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines and participate in IEP meetings.
