As an Accounting Associate within PNC's Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA and play a key role on the SEC Reporting team, supporting top-of-house financial reporting. This is a highly visible position with broad exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to critical reporting processes that impact the organization at the highest level. The team operates in a collaborative environment, where individuals work collectively to deliver accurate and timely reporting. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting or finance background, who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and has experience with financial reporting and analysis. This position operates in an in-office environment, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.In this role, responsibilities include:Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated external financial statements (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirementsPartner closely with internal business stakeholders to support accurate and timely reportingAssist in the preparation of quarterly earnings release materialsPerform tie-outs to ensure accuracy and consistency across earnings press releases and regulatory filingsSupport the review of XBRL tagging for 10-K and 10-Q filingsConduct disclosure-related research on U.S. GAAP and SEC requirementsAssist with the completion of Census Bureau surveys and other regulatory reportingContribute to automation and process improvement initiativesComplete ad hoc analyses and requests as neededPNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance.
