We are seeking motivated accounting professional with strong nonprofit accounting experience who is looking to make an immediate impact within a growing organization.This position involves managing full-cycle accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and audit preparation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working directly with leadership teams while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring regulatory compliance.Job Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reportingPrepare and present monthly and annual financial statementsOversee restricted and unrestricted fund accountingDevelop and monitor annual budgets and analyze financial variancesLead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditorsEnsure compliance with IRS regulations, Form 990 reporting, and grant requirementsRecord financial data into QuickBooks (i.e. accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue and expenses)Perform bank reconciliationsPost journal entriesGenerate financial statement and variance reportsRespond to client inquiresPerform financial analysis and forecastingCreate financial dashboard templatesDevelop internal control proceduresFormalize reconciliation proceduresProvide written summaries of financial variancesMake recommendations regarding policies, procedures, and best practicesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum 5 years of accounting experience (required)Minimum 3 years of QuickBooks experience (required)Experience with nonprofit accounting preferredKnowledge of form 990 reporting and grant compliance preferredQuickBooks certification requiredWhy Work With Express?Weekly PayHealth Benefits AvailableSupport from a Dedicated Express Employment TeamOpportunity for Long-Term Employment
