Enrichment & Summer Camp Coordinator

Description

We are seeking an organized, energetic, and collaborative Enrichment & Summer Camp Coordinator to coordinate our Summer Camp, After-School Enrichment, Vacation Camps, and Extended Learning programs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families, coordinating staff and programs, and creating engaging, well-organized experiences for students. The Coordinator will work closely with school leadership and staff to ensure programs run smoothly from planning through execution.

YOUR ROLE

Summer Camp

• Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and implementation of engaging summer camp programs aligned with student interests and school goals.
• Manage registration, enrollment, family inquiries, and program communications.
• Coordinate the hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of camp counselors, instructors, and support staff.
• Oversee daily camp operations, including student arrival and dismissal, attendance, activities, transitions, and safety procedures.
• Assist with camp budgets, purchasing, supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Maintain accurate records and help track enrollment, attendance, program feedback, and other key information.

After-School Enrichment

• Coordinate a diverse roster of trimester and seasonal after-school enrichment courses.
• Recruit and coordinate internal and external instructors and enrichment providers.
• Support instructor onboarding and ongoing communication with the school and HR team.
• Manage course registration, schedules, catalogs, and family communications.
• Coordinate daily student transitions, attendance, instructor arrivals, classroom setup, and dismissal.
• Assist with instructor payments, course fees, supplies, and program financial tracking.
• Gather parent feedback and program data to help evaluate and improve offerings.

Vacation Camps & Extended Learning

• Plan and coordinate full-day and multi-day programs during school breaks.
• Manage registration, staffing schedules, student-to-staff ratios, and daily logistics.
• Coordinate and support camp staff to ensure students are safe, engaged, and well cared for.
• Communicate program details, schedules, and expectations to families.

Campus & Administrative Support

• Provide front-door and front-desk coverage as needed.
• Assist with immediate campus needs, including supplies, spills, classroom setup, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Support special projects and other administrative or operational needs as assigned by the Head of School.

About You

You are organized, dependable, warm, and proactive , with excellent communication and follow-through. You enjoy working with children and families and are comfortable coordinating multiple programs, people, and priorities in a busy school environment.

Experience in education, summer camps, after-school programs, enrichment, childcare, or youth programming is preferred. Experience coordinating staff, vendors, schedules, or programs is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience coordinating programs, camps, enrichment, education, childcare, or a related field.
• Experience working with school-age children and families in a school, camp, or youth-program setting.
• Experience coordinating staff, instructors, vendors, schedules, or program logistics.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and comfort learning registration, scheduling, and database systems.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification; successful completion of required background screening.

Preferred:

• Experience working in an independent school or similar educational environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin
