As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Webster, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with store leadership and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a professional environment.
• Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and/or loading and receiving zones to help address policy concerns, suspicious behavior, and other security-related issues.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting concerns, and following post orders and site procedures during daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
