About the Role:

As a Dietician at Alden Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our residents through tailored nutritional care. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the dietary needs of individuals and develop personalized meal plans that align with their health conditions and preferences. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• State licensure as required by local regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food service management.
• Certification in geriatric nutrition or a related specialty.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents to identify dietary needs and preferences.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized meal plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff to promote healthy eating habits.
• Evaluate and adjust meal plans based on residents' health status, preferences, and feedback.
• Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and best practices to ensure high-quality dietary care.
