Premier Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Far Rockaway is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team in a part-time role primarily covering weekend shifts . This position is ideal for nurses seeking supplemental income, work-life balance, or a consistent weekend schedule in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.

• Complete resident assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition.

• Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions safely and accurately.

• Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.

• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Ensure compliance with all New York State Department of Health, CMS, and facility policies.

• Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Reliable attendance and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care.

Schedule

• Part-Time

• Weekend availability is required

• Primarily Saturday and Sunday shifts

• Additional weekday shifts may be available based on staffing needs
