What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Manager at Burrito Shak, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our customers leave with a smile. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: - Learn the flow and system of Burrito Shak, train team members, and oversee operations to exceed customer expectations. - Manage employees to deliver exceptional food quality in a timely and cost-effective manner. - Provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude. - Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment. - Ensure the line is stocked, and all recipes and products meet company standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone with the right mix of experience, skills, and personality to thrive in our team-oriented environment. Our ideal candidate will have: - A positive attitude and a passion for great food and service. - 2 years of restaurant experience , preferably while leading a team. - Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming experience for our guests. - Basic knife skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. - Strong time management skills to keep things running smoothly.

Additional Details

• Pay : $14 to $16/hour plus tips (typically adding $2.50 to $3.50/hour).
• Shifts : Morning and evening shifts are available, with staff starting as early as 8 AM and wrapping up by 10 PM at the latest. Shifts typically range from 6 to 9 hours.

The goal of Burrito Shak was simple. With a family of children ages one and three, founders David and Kara Longo noticed a need for a restaurant that served up quality ingredients with flavorful chef-inspired recipes in a fast casual environment. They wanted to keep the menu tasty, yet affordable for all to enjoy. In the spring of 2015, Burrito Shak was born.

Burrito Shak is a combination of flavorful baja style fare, beach vibes, and of course, family and community. The flagship Burrito Shak is located in Hampstead, NC. David’s love for surfing and the beach inspired the coastal vibe given to the menu and décor.
