Hello! My name is Jane, and I'm a homeowner in Rochester, New York. I'm currently seeking a reliable housekeeper who takes pride in her work and has her own high standards. We can start as soon as next week. The job is mostly vacuuming to get rid of as much dust as possible. I have asthma. As long as my asthma stays under control, I'm happy! The appearance of the home is not important; keeping the home healthy is the whole purpose of the job. So this job is crucial. You will have real impact on my health. I will start w/$25/hr. After 6 months, if your work has been consistently good, I'll raise the pay. I give a big bonus during the holidays, and a smaller one on your birthday - if your work has been consistently good. Also, if you've been dependable and responsible. Good communication is important - I use email and texting, not the phone. As long as we can communicate through emails and texts, that will be a big part of doing this job. Again, no phone calls. For the 1st time, the cleaning will be a try-out. I do not meet a person first, separate from the cleaning. The job alternates weeks between the Downstairs and the Upstairs (one week the Downstairs, the next week the Upstairs). It requires 5 hrs a week. Vacuuming has to be done on everything in a room, with walls and some ceilings. The kitchen is not included; I have someone who comes here every other week to do 3 1/2 hrs in the kitchen alone. I have checklists for the Downstairs and the Upstairs.
