Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We're hiring an experienced Retail Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week full-time contract opportunity in the Clearwater, FL area. If you have a strong retail pharmacy background, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working with patients and insurance companies, we'd love to hear from you. Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Monday-Friday
• 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• ASAP start (approximately 1.5-2 weeks after offer)

Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions and resolve insurance adjudications and claim rejections
• Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification
• Perform prescription data entry and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate with patients, prescribers, and insurance providers by phone
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration monitoring
• Assist with medication returns, quarantines, and destruction processes
• Support shipping, packing, and other pharmacy operations as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and pharmacy regulations

Requirements:

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
• Active PTCB Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience (hospital-only experience will not be considered)
• Call center or high-volume phone experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable making outbound and inbound phone calls in a professional setting
