CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will be flexible with work hours to meet departmental needs, responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services, and capable of working independently with technical expertise. This role involves performing a variety of technical procedures, verifying patient identities, ensuring image quality, maintaining equipment, and delivering exceptional patient care with professionalism and compassion.

• Verifying orders and clinical histories
• Preparing patients and explaining procedures using AIDET
• Operating CT equipment safely and effectively to produce high-quality images
• Responding to emergency situations and maintaining life support equipment
• Maintaining equipment and infection control standards
• Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures
• Documenting procedures accurately and submitting images to PACS
• Restocking supplies and supporting departmental operations
• Performing patient transport, positioning, and minor clerical duties
• Participating in departmental training and quality control activities
• Providing excellent customer service and communication to patients, families, and staff
• Working night shifts (Thursday-Saturday, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am) and on-call as necessary

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; experience in CT preferred
• ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography certifications required upon hire
• BLS certification required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to function under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
