Red Mountain Garage Doors is expanding our North Birmingham team and hiring Garage Door Technicians/Apprentices. We are willing to train mechanically inclined individuals with strong customer service skills through our apprentice program.

What You'll Do

Install and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Deliver outstanding customer service
Document completed work with notes and photos
Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
Recommend additional services and upgrades when appropriate

Qualifications

Garage door installation or service experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience in sales preferred
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders
Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
High school diploma or GED

No Garage Door Experience?

We welcome mechanically inclined candidates with strong work ethic, construction experience, automotive repair experience, maintenance backgrounds, or other hands-on technical skills. Our paid apprentice program provides the training needed to build a successful career in the garage door industry.
