Epic Apps Analyst

Position Summary We are seeking a talented Epic Applications Analyst to join an innovative healthcare organization. In this role, you will bridge the gap between healthcare technology and clinical/operational teams. You will be responsible for configuring application features, evaluating software solutions, troubleshooting complex system issues, and partnering directly with end-users and software vendors to ensure seamless technology adoption. Key Responsibilities Application Support & Issue Investigation Investigate and resolve application configuration, server service, and interface job issues. Participate in ticket triage, root-cause analysis, and critical incident responses. Troubleshoot system components and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to implement permanent fixes. Stakeholder Engagement & Configuration Partner with operational teams, clinical staff, and software vendors to design, test, and configure new system features and security settings. Lead workstreams on cross-functional projects, ensuring tasks stay on scope and within project management timelines. Evaluate vendor software demos against business requirements and recommend functional solutions. Documentation, Training & Continuous Improvement Build comprehensive support documentation, including test scripts, workflow diagrams, and knowledge base articles. Collaborate with training teams to build end-user training materials and Job Aids. Facilitate application upgrade processes and recommend new functionality to operational end-users. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on technical and functional workflows. Position Qualifications Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience. Experience: 3+ years supporting enterprise software platforms (EHRs, ERPs, or ITSM tools like Epic or Workday). Certifications: Current certification in an enterprise application (e.g., Epic, Workday) or the ability to obtain certification upon hire. Skills: Independent problem-solver with strong stakeholder management skills; ability to lead workstreams and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. Flexibility: Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work off-hours as needed. Preferred: Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
