Your responsibilities Design, govern and continuously enhance the Group’s Internal Control System (ICS) Oversee, steer and review the monitoring of ICC standards Advise and support management and control owners implementing ICC requirements Act as gatekeeper and escalation point for segregation of duties conflicts Lead the internal ICC community, foster knowledge exchange, conduct trainings Your Qualifications Completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIA, CBPP) is an advantage Several years of relevant experience in Internal Controls, Risk Assurance, Internal or External Audit, preferably in an international environment and ideally in group-wide governance or standardization roles Proven knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), segregation of duties principles, and authorization concepts (e.g., DoA), including experience with control testing, monitoring tools, and process documentation systems Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to design and assess control structures, identify systemic control weaknesses, and translate governance requirements into practical solutions Fluent in German and English; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to train, consult, and influence non‑experts on control topics What We Offer Flexible working hours with no core time and possibility to work from home Further training and international career opportunities Corporate health management "PALfit" Company restaurant with freshly prepared meals and daily meal subsidy Job ticket for travel to and from PALFINGER Numerous employee discounts through Corporate Benefits Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full‑time employment.
