Equipment Manager

Job Summary: Manage equipment department with $300 million in revenue and over $100 million in assets. Overall objective: Ensure a high level of equipment readiness for all jobs at any given time. Key Responsibilities: Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Evaluate current processes and organizational structure. Recommend and implement changes to improve department and company results. Own the capital expenditure strategy for all company equipment. Optimize fleet and equipment utilization across the company. Identify unused/unproductive equipment and determine what to sell, rebuild, reallocate, etc. Supervise and lead others in the equipment department. Hold team members accountable to company desired outcomes and processes while driving a high level of team member engagement. Generate equipment rates. Partner with project teams to determine project specific equipment strategy. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Financial Acumen – Understanding of and ability to make decisions using company and department P&L. Sense of Urgency – Ability to make sound decisions timely in fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills – Ability to give and receive honest feedback while driving team member engagement. Strong customer service mentality. Ability to get work done through others using effective delegation, scheduling, and time management practices. Strong problem solving and leadership skills. Understanding of DOT regulations for working across multiple states in the western US. Understanding of HCSS Suite of Services (HCSS Dispatcher, etc.) Familiarity with and experience working with collective bargaining agreements. Why Work for WW Clyde?
